Surely their sites can't suck so much that there isn't another way to explain what they do? You don't get offline businesses describe themselves as offline marketers. I totally agree on some of the so called SEO experts. I've asked some of them really basic questions on their blogs and they can't come up with an answer. I found several years ago that there are many "partnership" opportunities available to people like me who have an ability to rank sites. My skills are valuable to business owners who don't have the skills to be a marketer of search or anything else. I am involved in a partnership with a web development company in California that will pay me like a lottery ticket once things are complete. This "job" will take about a year to complete and offers are already coming in. All I have invested is some free time on Saturdays and my results. That last statement is so true. Most SEO's aren't as good at SEO as they claim. What they're good at is making people think they're good so they can charge ungodly rates for their services, which normally produce mediocre results. Personally, I have very little time to blog as I am actually doing SEO for small businesses that need the service. Also, I frequently see SEO blogs that seem to target other SEO's exclusively. Why is that? SEO's don't need SEO, do they? Small businesses do and that is who I try to target with my blog. I need the money, not the fame. I see this with SEO blogs.
