Make Easy Money Online with Article Arbitrage

September 16th, 2007 | 4 comments

A few days ago I told you how I made my first money online by starting a ghostwriter service. Today I’m going to let you in on yet another technique I used in the past to make money online, but this one is even easier.

It’s called “article arbitrage” (that’s what I call it anyway) and it involves capitalizing on a whole in the market. That’s actually what the term “arbitrage” is anyway, capitalizing on a whole in a market.

How “Article Arbitrage” works and how you can use it to make easy money online In a nutshell

1. Set up a simple ghostwriting service (very simple, can be done in a few hours)

2. Find good writers who sell articles for $10 or less (the less you buy them for, the more money you’ll make). I found my writers in Internet Marketing Forums, but you can find them at Elance and RentaGhostWriter as well. If you can find Brits or Americans living in India, snatch them up. Many of them will write for VERY cheap because the cost of living there is so low.

3. Market your Ghostwriting Service in order to get customers, as I explained previously.

4. Do you see where this is going?…Joe orders 10 articles for $12/article, you order the same thing from writer#1 for $8/article. You send payment then receive payment. You pocket $40 then rinse and repeat over and over and over and over.

It works, I’ve done it! Give it a shot!

Think it’s unethical? I don’t. “Joe” needs articles. Joe gets articles. Writer needs money, writer gets money. You want some of that money, you get some of that money ;) You’re getting paid for making the connection, you just don’t tell them.

As I writer, I have no problem with this at all! I know of a lot of writers who don’t want to deal with the hassles of dealing directly with clients. You’re actually doing a favor for them! I have a few writers that might be good for you, if you need more for your pool.

Hi Courtney, it’s good to hear a writer say that. I’ve never heard anyone say otherwise, but I’m sure there are some who would.

There are actually many large corporations who use arbitrage as their main business model.

I’ve stopped using article arbitrage because it just doesn’t fit into my business plan anymore. Nonetheless, it’s a proven way to make easy money online.

    Hey Josh,

What do you think about contextual ad Arbitrage. I know Google is against Adsense Arbitrage, but maybe you could do it with other ad services?

    @ Web,

It’s not something I’ve personally played with, so I can’t give you any advice on it, but I’d imagine it’s profitable if you do things correctly :)
