@ Leigh – The pleasure is all mine. So far (I’ve just started reading) it’s an excellent book and I’m sure it will do well, but whether it does or not It’s pretty neat to be mentioned and greatly appreciated.

I’ve been pondering the idea of writing my own, so this has given me a little more motivation.

Excellent post Josh and congrats! I couldn’t agree more on a couple points here.

First, i think I’m still on ONE list of a “guru”, because as you say, they just fake it for the most part.

Private coaching…nuthin better! Although it can be a little disheartening when you spend HOURS with someone, to only see them do whatever they want anyway and then wonder why it STILL isn’t working.

Looks like you hit the proverbial jackpot in Brent, great job fellas; keep it rockin’!

Congrats on the mention, good luck and hopefully more to follow once the book gets more exposure. I have always believed in what goes around comes around and you have proved that.

Brent, yes there are alot out there who don’t help others or just appear to want to help.

Brent brings up an excellent point about helping out in private, when nobody is looking. That is a perfect way to draw a line between those who help out of self interest and those who are simply helpful.

Josh has helped me “offline” as well, and I’m reminded how much more I need to do the same.

Thanks for the post.

Out of all the bloggers and marketers that I have ran into, only two stick out that are in my estimation genuinely interested in helping others. That’s you and Monika Mundell.

There are tons out there interested in helping themselves. There are even a few out there that like to give the impression that they want to help others, but after a while I have the sense it’s all an act for their own benefit.

What makes you different?

You’ve done a lot to help me in private when no one was looking asking for nothing in return. I think when you do good things for people, good things come back to you. It the ole, “you reap what you sew”.

I appreciate your blog and all the help you have given me. Big up to you my friend.
